Pumpkins at QKR Stampede

It's TGIF and we have a new challenge starting today over at QKR Stampede!    Our new theme is "Pumpkins" and we don't even care if they are really Jack-o-Lanterns.  :-D  If you're still doing Halloween cards or Thanksgiving cards and they have pumpkins on them, come enter our challenge this week.

I did my card using Digi 18807 "Scarecrow and Jack" and the sentiment is Digi 15804 "Sewing Seeds."

The image is colored with ProMarkers and cut with one of my very first dies, a simple square from Spellbinders.  The lacy edges were with a border die from Cheery Lynn.  The dp and the CS pieces are all scraps (still clearing the mess off the craft desk!) and I added the two fabric pumpkins for embellishment.  The final touch was the burlap bow.

     Challenges:
613 Avenue Create
Crafting from the Heart
Crafty Boots
Craft Your Passion
Double D
Dream Valley
Get Creative
Hiding in My Craft Room
Melonheadz Friends
Robyn's Fetish

This is probably my last Halloween card and from now on my pumpkins will be just pumpkins, not Jack-o-Lanterns and my focus will be on Thanksgiving/gratitude.  Of course, that could change if someone asks me to make something specifically for Halloween but I have enough cards done to take care of my own needs and have a few more to sell.  I do love Halloween cards and I'm always a teeny bit sorry to have them all done.  Are you that way, too?  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie

  1. Love your card! You are a bunch of inspiration. Trying to get back into a routine so my plan is to join the challenge using a QKR image I got from my winnings.
