I don't know how I've missed the progressive challenge at From the Heart before this but I've discovered it now and am playing along. However, that means doing another Christmas card despite the fact that I already have more than enough for family and friends this year. I guess I'll be able to donate the overflow to OWH or one of my local organizations. I know there's always a need.
My design sketch came from Tuesday Morning Sketches
and I used colors from Outlawz Color challenge.
The sweet snowman is colored with ProMarkers and a bit of sparkle gel ink, then die cut. I die cut the sentiment with the same die set and mounted both of those onto a single piece of dark blue CS. I used a snowflake die from Spellbinders to cut two snowflake shapes from pale blue dp, cut each one in half, added Stickles, and then adhered them to make the background shape shown in the sketch.
I added everything to a card base made from kraft CS and finally added the sparkly pompoms which have been hiding in my Christmas stash for who-knows-how-long. I also found a single pompom (without any sparkle) and added it to the snowman's ear muff.
Challenges: (There were just so many with "Christmas" themes!)
Have a terrific weekend and Happy Stamping. NanaConnie
