Beat the Heat

Where I live, we're back in the 100 F temps this week and trying to find ways to beat the heat.  Even my new plants are dragging their little stems so this image from Sassy Cheryl's just seemed to offer a perfect solution for hot summer days!

Colors were dictated by the challenge at
The Ribbon Girl -- Aqua/Turquoise.

The image is colored with ProMarkers, and I added a bit of sparkle gel ink to the water drops coming from the watering can.  Certain portions of the image were deliberately left uncolored so that the cool blues would be the focus.

The water splashes are epoxy stickers and the one sparkly flower is a punched chipboard piece, glittered and adhered with a dimensional dot.  Ribbons were in my stash and I'm not sure where I got them.

     Challenges:
Crafts 4 Eternity
Crafty Catz
Craft-Dee Bowz
Crafty Sentiments
Creative Corner
Creative Craft Cottage
Eureka Stamps
Fan-Tastic Tuesdays
Lia Stampz

The Pink Elephant

Have yourself a wonderful day and find some time to refresh your creative soul.  It will thank you later.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie
